What better way to spend a snowy Monday off from school than by playing futsal! Games are played on basketball courts and are fast-paced with lots of touches. Schedules are designed with moms and dads in mind: there’s not a ton of time between games so you won’t be waiting around all day. We call this tourney the “MLK Freedom” to reflect the freedom players enjoy through the sport of futsal and the freedom we celebrate as Americans. Futsal originated in the streets of Brazil where players had the freedom to try new moves and show off new skills to their friends. We seek to create that same atmosphere of freedom and creativity on MLK Monday at the Freedom.

Location: Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill, 601 North B Street, Hamilton, OH, 45013
Ages: U8-U19 (boys & girls), adult
Games: 24 mins long, guaranteed at least 3 games/team (some teams play 4 games)
Format: 5v5 with gks for all age groups
Roster: 6-8 players (recommended)
Cost: $185/team; $30/free agent player
